Wow! what a evening and speech delivered by Dave. His story was inspiring, emotional and remarkable. I have attended various guest speaker evenings, this will be one I will never forget. The complete room was gripped. The way Dave was able to talk about his journey from a young child, to the battles he has beaten later in life is simply second to none. I had the pleasure of attending Dave’s inspirational talk . I experienced many emotions listening to Dave’s remarkable story. It is an extremely powerful account of such a traumatic experience and the subsequent impact it has had on Dave’s life. The overriding message though is one of hope in the face of adversity which Dave delivers naturally, balanced with humour to a fully engaged audience. Attending one of Dave’s talks was incredibly motivating and something which I would highly recommend. Whilst Dave’s story is incredibly emotional, Dave managed to engage with the audience which enabled us to understand Dave’s story. The sense of humour that was added gave the speech a nice balance and brought out another side of Daves very admirable personality. Lastly, the purpose that Dave gave the speech was fantastic and after the talk I felt equally moved and inspired. This kind of service would be beneficial to anyone in my opinion and I hope that Dave has an impact on many others as he has on me.
